Since 1993, Desarrollos, Construcción e Ingeniería S.A. (DECISA) has become a solid leader in the construction of commercial, industrial and housing projects, as well as a real estate developer.

Its constant search for excellence, based on the quality-deadline-price trinomial, makes DECISA a firm 100% committed to customer needs, project quality, deadline compliance, and transparency in its actions.

DECISA is now a consolidated and well-recognized firm that has built over 2,000,000 ft² (185,000 m²) for some 150 clients. Over time, DECISA has stood out for its excellence in customer service. Evidence of this is the large number of repeat customers or customers gained through references.

Its founders are Civil Engineers Federico Matamoros Bolaños and Mauricio Ruiz Palza. The firm recently brought on board Economist and Financier Óscar Rozados Domínguez, with over ten years of experience in real estate and construction companies. The synergy created thanks to the different areas of expertise of its partners, namely business administration and civil engineering, is key for the success of any construction project, and is a feature of differentiation between DECISA and its competitors.

DECISA is member of the Costa Rican Construction Chamber (Cámara Costarricense de la Construcción) (CCC), the Costa Rican Association of Engineers and Architects (Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos – CFIA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers. DECISA has its own premises, located in Pozos de Santa Ana, and a broad range of construction equipment.
